But, on a happier note we have a most fabulously glam shop this week! La Pomme sells gorgeous authentic French vintage objects and home decor. This is TOTALLY my type of store. Look at some of the BEAUTIFUL products that you can find in this shop.
Seriously, I am in love. But, now for the real cincher! I have Vintage framed prints hanging in my office restroom. They were given to me by my own mother during a very special family antique bridal shower where the closest married women in my family give the bride-to-be an antique from an ancestor. My mother knew how much I loved these vintage prints, gifted them to me and now they grace the walls in my home. So of course the following prints were my inspiration for this week's card.
Cameo's are sooo in right now. I found this divine Art Deco Ladies Cameo at This Good Day
The Cameo is soo gloriously fashionista that I knew it would be perfect for this shop!
Look at the pretty glitter on the hat. The muslin fabric is from Emma's Paperie
This is a simple home made embellishment where I gathered two layers of lace
trim into a circle, adhered it to a base, and stitched a button on top.
Okay, okay I know that Art Deco which came about early 20th century is NOT the same as 19th Victorian, but I just couldn't help myself! But, here is the absolute BEST part of this challenge. One winner will win vintage sheet music, a vintage tin box AND a plush fruit from La Pomme !!! OOOhhh...pure gloriousness!!
This week's sponsor is The Stamp Fairy They'll be awarding our second winner three free digi's of their choice!
and our guest designer for January, Rachel

I hope that you and the hubby find a way to cherish the little time that you will have together and that his work travel will lighten up in the future.
