Stamp Techniques: Stamp Masking

Hey there friends! Today the whole Pit Crew from Avocado Arts will be sharing projects with you! It's a sneak peak day, so we use stamps from the current month's set, which is Perfect Blend, or a past set and mix it with a sneak from next month's set, which you're going to love, it's so totally adorable!

I love mixing stamps from multiple Avocado Arts sets. They're designed perfectly so you can do just that! For today's project I used a stamp technique called stamp masking. This stamp technique is one of the easiest and funnest ones when you want to make  a cool handmade card. This cool handmade card showcases stamps from Perfect Blend, Hello Friend and next month's set.
The postage stamp and sending you sentiment are from next month's set. The postage stamp works perfectly as an adorable little frame for the smaller masked images; a telephone, coffee mug, tea bag and camera.

This is a very simple card to make and is perfect to give to your favorite friend. You know, the kinda friends who you can chat with on the phone for hours, drink a cup of coffee with on a cold day, they'll bring you tea when you're sick, and you have tons of pictures with them from all your fun times together.

To mask the cute images, I stamped the postage stamps randomly all over the card.  Then, I placed post-it notes over the postage stamped image and stamped the camera, coffee mug, tea bag and phone, off center to draw the viewer's eye to the images. I added some sparkly sequins and a feather sticker for dimension! The sending you stamp went well with the sentiment sticker and all the cute images that remind me of what long-term friendships look like!

So, as mentioned on the Avocado Arts facebook page, were having a giveaway of three adorable little mini sets! Make sure to leave a comment on each Pit Crew blog for a chance to win! Winners will be picked randomly on and announced on the blog and facebook page. Here's what you could win!

Don't forget that I am also hosting CHA giveaways on my facebook page. Read this post to for details on how to win!

Well, that's it for me today! Make sure to stop by the other Pit Crew blogs for amazingly creative and inspiring ideas!
